TROPHY CASE

I don't think bigot means what you think it means. Also, this is a forum where people express there opinions. I expressed mine in saying that I don't think Seau is a very good athlete or person (from what I'd heard but appears to be incorrect on most accounts). I stand by that he is not a very good athlete in comparison to all the other people on my list. It's ok to have opinions that don't match others. It's also ok to say that to people.

I would love to see Autodesk ingratiating something like this into Maya. Perhaps it needs a third party developer. Any thought on it? by davetronicin Maya

If you look at the video the sampling rate on that looks terrible. Not nearly accurate enough for precision anything.

Having a lot of money and donating part of it doesn't make you a nice guy. That can be construed as a tax write-off. Volunteering does count as a nice-guy thing. I was only pointing out the things I'd heard.

To be fair a large percentage of those people worked on Blender Foundation projects. It's not like they're no one.

I wasn't trying to convince you. I was just saying I don't agree because 1) I hadn't read all these "nice guy reviews" and 2) he isn't that great or athletic in terms of all sports. I don't care if you like him or not. I'm glad you like sports. Reddit seems to hate them, ofr the most part. I'm not from San Diego so I don't care about their franchises but I fully understand the role that location plays on determining favorite whatever. I was looking at it purely objectively based on athleticism and what I'd read about him. My favorite athletes are for the most part not the greatest athletes of all time but I like their persona as you described. I just haven't heard really anything good about him and his athleticism isn't good enough to disregard personal flaws.

I do love mountain dew however, I see no connection in this reply to anything about Junior Seau or how he is super impressive as an athlete. It does boggle my mind when people like you continually reference people doing the exact same thing as you as losers. That's some self-loathing shit.

[–]wackywiener -5 points-4 points ago

Wut? Obviously he doesn't have to be the greatest to be your favorite. OP described him as one of the greatest linebackers and that really has no bearing because it's inconsequential when placed into a global sports context.

I'm sick of passive-aggressive, virgin, neckbeards who don't understand that reddit is a forum where people say lots of things that your silly ass might not understand or agree with. Now go be a productive member of society and empty the garbage cans the city is paying you to empty.

You keep using those words. I don't think they mean what you think they mean, kiddo. He ranks maybe top ten for linebackers certainly not top 5 and barely any of the top 5 would be considered top 50 football players of all time. It's just not that prolific of a position. Include that into the grand scheme of sports and he doesn't even touch the top 500. I'm sure he was nice when you met him but all accounts I've read, dude was a dick.

Edit: I would love if anyone could make a valid argument for him being even on the top 1000 athletes.

If Seau is your favorite athlete you don't know much about sports. Or people.

Easy grandpa. Have you ever even played a fucking sport? For the love of jebus. Every single year from the ages of 10 to 21 while playing competitive sports I got in a fight. All my friends and teammates got in fights. Hockey? Are you fucking kidding me. Those guys get in 10 fights a season and that's one fucking season against other teams. Have you been in a fucking teenage locker room? Jesus FUCK, that's all that happens. Guys fight. We bleed. We get over it. Get the fuck over yourself. That doesn't even count stuff not sports related. Bar fights. Brawls. Fuck you. You're so profound because you remember a fight you got in, and always will. That means nothing. It means you're a child and don't have the emotional capacity to move on with your life. Is it smart to retain the feelings so you don't do dumb shit? Yes. Does it mean there aren't still things to fight for? No. Will you forget things? Fuck yes you will. You're an idiot and I hope when I'm a thousand years old I won't be as arrogant and fucking stupid as you.

What? What makes you think I haven't been hit? It sounds like you haven't been in too many fights if that doesn't start to roll off.

I don't believe a word of what any media sources says when it comes to he said/she said about politics. This could have been easily manufactured. The only interesting part about this story is that he didn't say anything about how it was bad that this could have happened and he's looking for ways to make it stop.

I put the possibility on the probably side but honestly I feel like that could be forgotten. I did some pretty stupid, terrible things in high school which I'm sure at least half have been forgotten.
