While I appreciate your input, it is important to remember that whether or not to add flair to your name is a personal choice. If you don't want flair then you don't have to have it. The rest of us do, however.

While I enjoyed your Scotty impression, you sound a bit too much like a Romulan to me. It seems that the majority of the members of the United Federation of r/startrek want flair... so give it to them! A good leader puts his own desires aside and concedes to the will of the people!

There's no need to be like that. It was a perfectly pleasant post and people seemed to get excited about it. Oh and look at that, the first suggestion of flair was 8 months ago, but you lazy-ass mods have done shit all about it. So don't get arsey with me when I was only trying to create some useful feedback to help the mods.

Great to have you on board, although I personally am not too sure about rank pins - we'd all be captains and admirals! To get the ball rolling we need to contact the mods who thus far haven't responded to this thread. They alone have the power to create flair for us.

I'm a palaeontologist and deal with evolution and fossils on a daily basis. The Earth is 4.5 billion years old, we can prove it with isotope dating. Organisms have been evolving for about 3.5 - 3.8 billion years, we can observe it in the fossil record. No sign of that evolutionary process (which is relatively often reset by extinction events) shows any trend towards an ultimate, intelligent and God-designed species such as humans. We just happened to evolve in the right place at the right time. God had nothing to do with it.

Plus, religious people are nuts!
