SmartAlbert isn't saying the whole story, we were commenting on certain comedians worried that because there was pressure on a french comics who said things that were considered anti-semitic to cancel his show other comedians would face pressure whenever they say things that offend Jews or other groups of people, then someone commented that criticizing Jews was forbidden and went on a pretty anti-semitic rant ( Jeanaimard )

Then Smartalbert gave an example of a list of Jews who criticized and made jokes about Jews, to which i responded that it's not the same thing to criticize Jews when you are a Jew yourself compared to when you are not, Jews and non Jews will both be hammered but the probability of being called an anti-semite for criticizing or making Jew jokes is much higher, it doesn't mean that if you are a Jew you won't be called an anti-semite as some have or a self-hating Jew, also some of the Jews he mentioned have been called anti-semites for criticizing and making jokes, all it means, which goes to my point, is that if you make Jew jokes or criticize Jews you are very likely to get hammered and be considered a bad guy, of course anti-semitism is anti-semitism when it is anti-semitism, but you have to be able to discern which is anti-semitism and what isn't.

Then i gave him some example of people who were raked over the coals in the media for daring to criticize various Jewish organization to which no one can deny happened, which again proves my point. One of the example was when the Montreal Jewish community wanted a YWCA to block their windows so people couldn't see women working out, after a long media war which various Jewish organization along with Canadian media were constantly bringing up how Quebecers had always been anti-semites and this was just another example, the conflict settled and the Jewish community payed the YWCA to fix their windows, but the damage was already done and most who had been critical had already be targeted as anti-semites.
