Cases? How about tenses? 22, give or take?

What is something each incarnation of the Doctor would say that would completely sum up that particular incarnation? I'll start. by FredL2in doctorwho

Same with me! Even though Eccleston was my first Doctor, Tennant is still my fave Doctor, but I got to like Smith's versatility and, as you said, quirkiness. :)

I just read something the other day that David Tennant was an Doctor Who überfan and was very eager to take on the role because he knew so much about the character.

I'll agree that 10 was much more human, but he was still the Doctor in every sense.

Yep. This is a balloon animal Dalek. by nolemonpleasein doctorwho

Balloon sculpture, actually.

10: I'm so, so sorry!

11: I wear a bow tie now. Bow ties are cool!

Basically, TV and movie writers oversimplify a lot of things in order to cut down on time, money, etc.

Even, when the writers, producers, etc., say they want to get things are accurate as possible, someone changes things to make it easier to film, produce or finish.

Given that so few people (relative to the population of the Earth) have spent any time in space, they can fudge things all they want. Point out obvious mistakes and it was just an "oversight." No way to make things perfect.

Regeneration Limits? by deimachyin gallifrey

[–]emememaker73 1 point2 points ago

As Moffat has said, anything's canon!

But, I agree that it seems the writers have basically tossed the idea of limitations out. After all, the Master was brought back from the dead in "The End of Time." And, as the OP points out, he survived the death of his 13th regeneration in the 1996 movie. (But, so many things about the TV movie were off-base because the BBC didn't have much control over the project.)

Jeeves, to the car! by emememaker73in lolcats

I suppose this would make more sense if we all knew that this cat is named "The Professor," and the image came from http://imgur.com/aMp2l .

Did anyone else notice the Dalek "Victory" poster in "Swan Song"?

It doesn't in Internet Explorer. Other people were posting that it didn't work in Chrome, either.

I have to agree with you.

Especially the part about switching the dental records. He had to have thought about that in advance, since he wouldn't have been able to switch his dental records with the ones of the patient.

Plus, how could he guarantee that the body would be taken to Princeton-Plainsboro? Unless he knew that Wilson and Foreman would see him inside the burning warehouse when that large beam fell in front of him?

It's mostly flaws in the writing process. Logical errors that we as fans pick at. We have to take a leap of faith in order to understand the overall plot and ignore the plot holes.

I don't know how that happened. Good question!

This was something I was totally unprepared for. Stacy ... out of nowhere after, what five seasons? Wow!

The writers or editors just left that out. I think we were supposed to jump to the conclusion that the patient/junkie offered House a way out of its problems. The junkie died from a heroin OD, but House, being a junkie with vicodin, actually survived the OD attempt. (Again, we were supposed to assume that.)
