Play using the Flash Projector, it cuts down non-network problems.

Also, when you press the Nexus button, there is still a time frame in which your command is being sent to the server. Since damage is client-side, if you eat a shotgun after pressing the Nexus button but BEFORE the server can respond (by booting you to Nexus), you still die.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Still, it cost me very many dungeons, Oryxes, and a few maxed characters, so I'm probably just going to hang out in Nexus until the situation improves.

Store them as life. Life pots = 6-7 right now, so try to buy for 6 and sell for 7. So your 25 def becomes 4 lifes + 1 def, and hopefully turns back into 29 def.

During Chinese New Year, we would always go to my 1st cousin's house and stay for the holidays (Ipoh mali!). Their driveway stretched from the front of the gates all the way to the back of the property, and the rooms in the house all had windows that were facing this driveway.

I was about 8 or 9 at the time, and had ducked into my cousin's room to change my clothes. It was about close to midnight, and many relatives were out in the main living room having a great time just chatting and gambling. As I changed, I noticed that the curtains in the room weren't drawn. This wasn't usually a problem as no one would be skulking about the driveway. Usually.

After I put on my little boy pants, I turned and noticed that my cousin was at the window, making faces at me (you know how you put your hands wide open at the side of your head and stick out your tongue?). The only problem was that my cousin's head wasn't connected to a neck, and his hands weren't connected to any arms. His tongue extended past his chin and this disjointed, smiling horror floated horizontally across the windows in N-shaped pattern.

I ran out of the room and into the main living room crying, unable to describe what I had seen to my concerned relatives who heard me. The front door was open, so I thought my cousin (who was among those in the living room) had played a cruel joke on me, and pointed at him accusingly while crying. The only problem was that the room I was in was much closer to the living room than the driveway outside; it would've been impossible that he got to the living room before I did if he was outside.

I never fully understood what I saw that day, but I've noticed most of the ghost stories occur when one is young.

This is a game I play, and it has a curious characteristic of having cards that return other cards that return other cards. I have never taken any advanced mathematics courses, and barely remember the basic ones. This was merely something that piqued my interest. The fastest way to depleting the deck would be to stack the deck so that Potions are on top; this is so they don't heal any other cards - PPPCCCAAA. If we take the left side as what is depleted and the right side as the Town Pile, the fastest progression is this:

-PPP = CCCAAA.
-CCC = AAA.
-A = PAA.
-P = CCCAA.
-CCCA = PA.
-P = CCCA.
-CCCA = P.
-P = CCC.
-CCC = Depleted at 21 hits. *fixed

I can work out the probabilities of this, but this is only one possible permutation. I don't know how to work out how many possible permutations there are, and this is the important part. With the chances from those as-yet-unknown permutations I can sum it all up together.

I agree that harm reduction and reducing stress on society in general is a noble goal, but I think we're coming at it from very different angles. I personally think that providing sex education, an easy supply of condoms, a support structure for pregnant women, and a robust foster child system would help prevent the problems you mention. I say this because abstinence-only initiatives tend to lead to higher cases of teen pregnancy (US red states, in general), and like I said, if no one is having the conversation about sex ignorance about it will spread.

Would you say current measures are adequate in preventing the problems you mention? If not, do you think there is a better way it could be done?

Typing from mobile so this will be brief. I guess my main beef is that while you don't HAVE to get it on in order to marry someone, I find it ridiculous that having sex is something that is criminalized. Sex is a possible outcome between two people who are attracted to each other and frankly the state should not care as long as no one is being hurt. Closeness and intimacy may lead to sex. This is perfectly normal. Remember that thread about not knowing how to have sex? That and a whole host of more important questions (sexual health) don't get asked when the entire topic is taboo. Instead people have sex anyway and don't know how prevent STDs or pregnancies.

Yeah I've seen people saying Interpol got involved, I suspect it's misinformation to wash the hands of the police actions taken. "Oh, he was going to get executed? Whoopsie, we didn't know, uh.... INTERPOL told us!"
