(The markings on the face. Also one of the attendant fairies of Titania in Shakespeare's "Midsummer." Seemed like a good fit for a spring kitten)

Agreed. Indiana Jones is to Snakes as I am to bees. Still less scary than disembodied music.

I had a similar experience on NoSleep. I don't think they are looking for true stories over there. That's really interesting, though.

My girlfriend has gained weight and has no intention of losing it. Am I unjustified if I dump her for it? by ShouldIDTMFAin AskReddit

At 105 and 5'7 your girlfriend was at an unhealthy, and unsafe weight. If you are that shallow I'm sure there are plenty of women starving to death in third world countries who would appeal to your tastes.

I live in Chicago and my parents moved to Pittsburgh. We haven't really had occasion to go back recently. We played out there all the time still all throughout the rest of our time living in Athens. We went back multiple times, but there was always an unspoken buddy rule in place that you don't go out there alone.

I wish I could find it. That old thing is so beat up and ridiculous.

Well may bad-assery follow in your footsteps, though you bravado precede them.

I did a little research on weather-related anomalies and "Hatikva". We had other related incidents, but never to the degree that we had earlier on. None of us still live in the neighborhood, but we heard from one of our old neighbors that some of the kids living there now have had a recent similar experience.

Hi Joss!

My undergraduate was in Shakespeare/performance and I completely geeked out when I found out that Much Ado was your play of choice. (And Nathan Fillion as Dogberry? NICE). It is my personal favorite, and I was wondering how you decided on Bea and Ben's story, especially since Branaugh's version is relatively recent? Obviously they are going to be two entirely different takes on the story(which I am incredibly excited for), set in a different time, etc. So why all the to do about Much Ado?

It goes pretty deep :-/. I just sent her a response pleading for some space to explore my own beliefs without pressure from her. I have a temper so I had a friend at work edit it for me before I sent it for diplomacy's sake. We'll see how it goes. My fingers are crossed but my hopes aren't high.

She is an Irish sort of "New Agey" Catholic, my dad is an Italian "Old World" Catholic. I don't see it going well but I am really tired of pretending to be someone I am not.

I have to admit I snapped more than I had intended to. I was definitely tipsy, and usual don't even respond to the emails she sends me. I'm a grown woman and it shouldn't have been a breaking point but it was.
