Quebec’s anti-protest legislation tramples basic rights by Kryptopsyin worldnews

Exactly! Enough is enough! If they want to make a difference, they should act like civilized human beings. Whatever man, I'm so happy that they passed the bill. Haters gonna hate.

What exactly is the fuss about anyway? We have been prevented from going to our classes, got our classes disrupted, and were forced to endure violent actions from the protesters We, as non-protesters, have rights too! The bill suggests that the protesters do what they want, as long as it does not effect other civilians' rights. We got our bridges blocked, our metro gazed, our violence between the Reds and the Greens...enough is enough. I am for this bill and I am really glad it passed.

(Downvote me, that won't change anything)

Bill 78 summary *Fines of between $1,000 and $5,000 for any individual who prevents someone from entering an educational institution. *Penalties climb to between $7,000 and $35,000 for a student leader and to between $25,000 and $125,000 for unions or student federations. *Public demonstations involving more than 50 people have to be flagged to authorities eight hours in advance, include itinerary, duration and time at which they are being held. *Police can order the protest move to a different spot. *Offering encouragement for someone to protest at a school, either tacitly or otherwise, is subject to punishment.

I AGREE WITH YOU 100%!

I was among the students who's class was disrupted by protesters claiming that our rights were going against their rights. I am so glad for this law to have passed. The law does not go against Freedom of Speech or Expression. It tells them to do whatever the shit they want to do AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT DISRUPT OTHERS' RIGHTS. Why is that SO hard to understand??
