What aspect/character in the series did you love even though everyone else seems to hate it?

Everyone seems to hate the fact that Harry was a whiney little bitch in OOTP. I'm not saying he wasn't annoying, but his train of thought is justifiable.

After spending his first four years of his wizarding life knowing Voldy is after him and fighting him off, he still has to spend the summers at his aunt and uncles house. He will learn later why this is so, but for now he doesn't.

After witnessing Voldy come back in human form, he's kept in the dark. His two best friends don't tell him anything and his godfather barely sends him letters.

Then he gets attacked by fucking dementors. Still, he's kept in the dark. Then he finds out Ms. Figg is a squib. Then he has to go to this hearing about defending himself and Dumbledore barely looks at him.

Finally, he goes to the secret house, and there's a secret fucking society? Oh but wait, even though he's fought of Voldemort 3 times, he can't be a part of it.

His mind is full of fucks.

You're telling me after all of this shit, you wouldn't act any less than polite?

I've always had this fascination with Liverpool (the city).

Warning: this is a silly story.

My first trip to Europe, I was around 10. As we were waiting at Heathrow for our luggage, I saw this Monopoly machine. So I went to mess around on it, only to find names other than Park Place, Boardwalk... So I asked my dad what these names were and he said they were English city names. For some reason, of all the city names I read, Liverpool stuck with me. Maybe because it was weird sounding, I'm not really sure. Then years later I started getting into The Beatles and lo and behold, they were from Liverpool. There were other little incidents like this (I found out my uncle went to a college in Liverpool) and so I just kinda declared them as my team. I knew of other teams (Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea) but I was just sort of drawn to Liverpool.
