Evangelion 3.0 - A sequel to EoE? by MrPotatoJuniorin evangelion

[–]FlintsDoorknob 1 point2 points ago

Sorry I always get the names confused. I'm horrible with names. I meant Unit-03 in Rebuild strangling Unit-01 with a pair of red elongated arms, it mirrored End of Evangelion when Shinji was choking Asuka. Revenge?

FYI: Watch 20/20 tonight on ABC. Misophonia often correlates with Autism spectrum disorders. by MsKimin aspergers

You can get deep pressure input from driving, lifting weights, pushing against walls, pushing down on the parts of your body that yOu can tell need weight. It's different for everyone. When I was a baby the only way my parents could get me to sleep was by driving. The vibrations from the road give deep pressure input.

I'm hypersensitive to all senses because of Autism. It caused me to drop out of high school and developed severe anxiety problems. I didn't find out how to cope until I was 17. Most people know nothing about this so please, AMA!! by FlintsDoorknobin IAmA

My brain misfires and I hear all sounds at once which gives me anxiety attacks. I can't filter anything out. Add general anxiety, hypersensitivity to heat, light, balance, sound, touch etc. we feel our world through senses and mine have always been fucked up. It's like trying to surf reddit on an Atari joystick and trying to not freak out.

I have a lot of problems with my sleep too. I use melatonin, but only when I need to. I'm not sure if you can actually get dependent on it thorough. I use a 30 lbs weighted blanket that is the size of my bed and another 10 lbs blanket on top of that. Some sort of routine and reason to wake up helps a lot too, but that's the hardest thing to find.

How much melatonin do you take? I take 5mg tablets. I'm also on benzodiazepine and ssris but I wouldn't suggest taking that just for sleep and you need to trust your doctor. I had a bad psychiatrist or I would have used something safer like weighted blankets and melatonin. Also, walking earlier in the day helps

I really love shout outs in general, but I really wont know what to think about how it ties into anything or what it means until all the movies are released.

I'll try to contact you again when I am not typing on my phone. Computer desk broke, lol.

Just don't touch them because a lot of kids are sensitive to that. Wear unscented products. I don't know I'd you're allowed to tell them to do sensory integration things like telling the to push down on their shoulders or not. Be aware of how. Lose you are to people.dont expect or stress eye contact. Doing unexpected things in g

I can't answer properly cause I'm using my iPod to type. It's more like I cannot filter out senses. It's probably similar to other people, but other people can filter out what's important and actually ignore it. I have to use deep pressure input to calm my preprioceptive senses down because I do t get about ten percent of body pressure that most people do. It makes my brains signals for sensory input constantly misfire. Things can be pretty random one day to the next. My hypersensitive hearing, sight, and balance and lack of proper body pressure area biggest problems.certain sights really are worse than others. Fluorescent lights, bright days, cold collie lights like blue. Sounds that have no rhythm and are unexpected and loud. Crowds of people. My back to a window, door, or really open areas. eacalators, bridges, things with height nest to the edge o stuff, slipping on ice loosing my balance

It doesn't bother me because I do wider myself to be a person who happen to have autism, instead of autistic. I don't get too caught up on labels.its just good to know that there is a reason I have trouble with sensory things and social things and that I'm not alone. It helps me get therapy and financial help eve though the former really hasn't worked out for me yet.

Yes. Deep pressure input can calm me down from pretty most any panic attack related to sensory overwhelmingness, and a lot of regular anxiety too. If I go to amusement park rides all my sensory issues don't become a problem. I don't filter out noise in music, so I really enjoy it. I dont filter out touch so things like being.hugged, deep pressure input, weighted blankets and sex are realy enjoyable. Even looking at the sky or water is really relAxing to me. It's just it's really easy to have meltdowns too

Er, I'm hypersensitive to my sense of balance. I have good balance but I cant use escalators. Noise and sight are the most sensitive.

I think I'm more sensitive to noise than most people. My sense of balance is really bad. I can't walk up stairs where you can see the ground through them. I have to wear similar clothes to keep calm so I really only wear jeans. I can't filter out noise and other senses so I hear it all at once. I use deep pressure input so it's relatively copable now, I think it's different for each person who has it. I'm so happy I'm not hypersensitive to smell, lol.

Thanks for posting the updates version. I wonder if they are going to mention this in the show, or if it's just a sort of Easter egg for fans of the original series. Also, I think unit 5 sprouting red arms and choking shinji when it absorbed asuka was too similar to scenes in EoE for it to be a coincidence.

People with Autism usually have a higher IQ than neurotypical people. It's not even remotely similar to Downs Syndrome.

How DARE they write for the audience that gives them all their money!

I'd also like to take this time to mention that there is a cameo by the Dude, Walter and Donnie in MLP.

It's like a juggaloo version of the girl from Die Antwoord.
