I believe they're actually called crisps in America as well because of a technicality. The way Pringles are made is unique to something like Lays or Utz, in that the "chips" are actually formed from a potato slurry through an extruder. If i recall correctly, companies like Lays actually lobbied the FDA or something to require them (P&G) to call them something different from "chips"

Yes, and around then Bo is thought to have only lived "millions of years" by most people around him. I think it's logical that Jack would create a completely different story and identity once he aged into Faceness
